Vehicle description
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS LS6 underwent a comprehensive three-year, fully documented and photographed, frame-off, nut-and-bolt concours restoration performed by Chevelle specialist Rick Nelson. It retains its original matching-numbers, born-with 454ci LS6 V8 engine rated at 450hp, paired with a Chevrolet dealer-installed warranty replacement Muncie 4-speed manual transmission from 1972, which remains in the car today. Finished in its factory-correct Tuxedo Black exterior over a Saddle interior, this Chevelle was restored to factory specifications with show-quality precision. Factory equipment includes bucket seats, the Z15 SS 454 package, LS6 454ci engine, M22 4-speed transmission, 3.31 posi-traction rear axle, heavy-duty battery, AM push-button radio and stripes. This LS6 is accompanied by extensive documentation, including the original Window Sticker, Build Sheet, invoice, sales card, owner's manual and Protect-O-Plate.
